CPL20 Twitter

From the little I know about Twitter I would say it relays instant reaction to happenings and would have a place for coverage of an event happening where other means of communication are impossible. I believe it was used in Iran to show people being abused by government forces. I personally don't have interest in reading about individual reactions to everday activities. It also gives a bird's eye view of the story which is the sender's biased opinion.

CPL 2.0 LibraryThing

I set up an account and tried using some of the features of LibraryThing. I can see myself using this tool for storing the titles of books I read and getting reviews on them. It is quite user friendly also.

CPL 2.0 Google Docs
I tried uploading a file and creating another one and found this tool easy to use. I understand it is not as powerful as the Microsoft products but sure good if you didn't have access to Microsoft products. I am trying to find out if it is compatible with Microsoft products or if it can only be seen as an online document.

CPL 2.0 Flickr & YouTube

I took the tour of Flickr and found it all very interesting in how pictures can be arranged into topics, used for posters, calanders, cards etc. The system seems very user friendly. I had used YouTube before and watched the suggested titles. The bombardment of information today as compared to years gone by is mind boggling.
